A painting that found its way back to Milan.
A few weeks ago, a friend came to visit us from Milan. He is a dancer, and on his last day here, he kindly became my model for two paintings.
One of them was Man with Blue Sheet.
Some time later, the painting found its way to Milan. It had caught the attention of someone who told me they couldn’t stop looking at it and loved when a work of art could stay in your thoughts for days.
After arriving, it was given a light frame that brought out the warmth of the figure.
There is something special about knowing that this painting now lives in the same city as its model.
